Accommodation Policy
In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and to maintain the public nature of the hotel, we have established the following rules, which are integrated with the Accommodation Agreement.
If the guest fails to abide by these rules, the accommodation contract may be cancelled in accordance with Article 6 of the Accommodation Agreement.

1. Regarding valuables and items left in our care
Please note that the hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to valuables.

2. use of guest rooms
- In principle, the use of rooms in excess of the contracted number of guests is prohibited.
- If the number of users exceeds the contracted number without notification, the excess usage will be charged.
- Minors only are not allowed to stay at the hotel without parental permission.
- The use of fireplaces and candles for heating and cooking, and pressing irons and other electrical appliances other than those loaned by the hotel are not permitted.
- The facility is a non-smoking facility.
- The use of hair dye, bleach, etc. in the shower rooms and sinks is strictly prohibited.
- Photos, posters, or other items that detract from the appearance of the hotel may not be displayed in room windows.
- Use of the room for purposes other than lodging is strictly prohibited.
- Visiting with visitors in the guest rooms is strictly prohibited.

Please refrain from bringing in the following items or acts that may disturb other guests in the hotel.

Bringing in the following items
- Animals, birds, etc. (excluding guide dogs, etc.)
- Methamphetamine, narcotics, and other drugs whose possession is prohibited by law
- Explosives, volatile oils, and other chemicals that may ignite or catch fire or cause bodily harm
- Firearms, swords and similar items without a permit
- Items of significantly large quantity or weight
- Items that emit a foul odor
- Garbage and items that interfere with room hygiene
- Electrical appliances, cooking utensils and other items intended for use in the hotel
- Other items that the hotel prohibits from being brought into the guest room
- (3) Any boisterous behavior such as singing or chanting, emission of foul odors, or any other behavior that may cause displeasure or annoyance to third parties.
- Acts against public order and morals
- Distributing flyers, leaflets or other advertising materials to other customers
- Moving, processing, taking out, or using for purposes other than the original use of the facilities and various items in the building.
- Leaving personal belongings outside of the guest room
- Entry to facilities not intended for guests
- Profit-Making Activities
- All other activities that interfere with safety and hygiene in the hotel

Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- The accommodation contract and related agreements entered into by this hotel with the guest shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions and the rules of use (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules of Use"), which are an integral part of these general terms and conditions. Matters not provided for in these General Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws and ordinances or generally established customs.
- In the event that this hotel agrees to a special agreement that is not contrary to law or custom, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

In accordance with Article 6 of the Ryokan Business Law, Article 4-2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the same law, and the ordinances of the prefecture in which this hotel is located, a person who wishes to make an accommodation contract (accommodation reservation) with this hotel is requested to provide the following information to this hotel.
- Guest Name
- Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
- Accommodation charge (In principle, based on the basic accommodation charge in Appendix 1)
- Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
- In the event that a guest requests to continue his/her stay beyond the date of stay stipulated in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during his/her stay, this hotel shall treat such request as a new application for a contract of stay at the time such request is made.

In accordance with Article 6 of the Ryokan Business Law, Article 4-2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the same law, and the ordinances of the prefecture in which this hotel is located, a person who wishes to make an accommodation contract (accommodation reservation) with this hotel is requested to provide the following information to this hotel.

Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
- The accommodation contract shall be concluded when this hotel accepts the application as described in the preceding article.
- When an accommodation contract has been concluded in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the accommodation charge for the entire stay related to said accommodation contract shall be paid prior to the start of the stay or by the date designated by this hotel.

In the event of any of the following events, this hotel may treat the reservation made by the guest as if the reservation was made even though the guest does not actually intend to stay at the hotel, and the accommodation contract shall lose its validity.
- In the event that the room charge set forth in the preceding paragraph is not paid prior to the start of the stay or by the date designated by this hotel in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph.
- When no attempt has been made to contact the contact person as specified in the first paragraph of the preceding article, and no contact can be made within 10 days from the date of the first contact at
(however, if the number of days until the day of the stay is less than this, by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the stay). - When a guest refuses to be contacted by the hotel.
- In the case of (2) and (3) of the preceding paragraph, the accommodation charge received will not be refunded.

Article 4 (Refusal to enter into an accommodation contract)
This hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases
- When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- When a room cannot be provided due to full occupancy.
- When there are reasons equivalent to the preceding item, such as when it is actually scheduled to provide rooms on a priority basis to disaster victims and disaster recovery personnel due to the occurrence of a disaster or other emergency situation, etc.
- When the person who intends to stay is a member or related party of a crime syndicate, a group affiliated with a crime syndicate, or any other antisocial force as defined in the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Members of Crime Syndicates and Prefectural Ordinances Concerning the Elimination of Crime Syndicates.
- When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay at the hotel is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the stay.
- When it is clearly recognized that the person seeking accommodation is suffering from a contagious disease.
- When the guest is requested to pay for services or other expenses that exceed the socially acceptable range in relation to the accommodation.
- When it is impossible to accommodate guests due to natural disasters, breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
- When the person seeking accommodation is intoxicated, etc., and is likely to cause inconvenience to other guests or interfere with the operation of this hotel, or when he/she says or does something that causes inconvenience to other guests or employees of this hotel.
- When the person who intends to stay at the accommodation is clearly in a state of mental or physical infirmity.
- When only minors without parental permission stay in the room.
- When an application for accommodation is made with the intention of transferring the right to stay at the hotel to another person.
- When a guest has made an application for accommodation without actually intending to stay at the hotel.
- When the person who intends to stay at the hotel has had trouble with the hotel in the past, such as late payment of the bill.
- When the case falls under other cases where accommodation can be refused as stipulated by various laws and regulations or prefectural ordinances, etc.

Article 5 (Guest's Right to Cancel Contract)
- The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making a request to this hotel.
- In the event that the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay a penalty fee in accordance with the provisions listed in Appendix 2.
- In the event that the guest does not arrive by the check-in time on the day of the stay without making contact, this hotel may treat the accommodation contract as having been cancelled by the guest.

Article 6 (Hotel's Right to Cancel Contract)

This hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases
- When a guest is a member or related party of a crime syndicate or a group affiliated with a crime syndicate or other antisocial force as defined in the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Members of Crime Syndicates and Prefectural Ordinances Concerning Elimination of Crime Syndicates.
- When a guest commits or is likely to commit an assault, threat, extortion, unreasonable demand, gambling, possession or use of drugs, firearms, swords, and similar items not permitted by law, acts that cause inconvenience to other guests, or other acts contrary to laws and regulations or public order and morals in this hotel.
- When it is clearly recognized that the guest is a person suffering from a contagious disease.
- When the guest is requested to pay for services or other expenses that exceed a reasonable range in relation to the accommodation.
- When it is impossible to accommodate guests due to natural disasters, breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
- When a guest commits an act that interferes with fire prevention/fire protection, such as smoking in one's room, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc.
- (2) When a person transfers or attempts to transfer the right to stay at the accommodation.
- When a guest fails to pay or delays payment of the room charge to this hotel.
- When the guest has made a false application at the time of entering into the accommodation contract.
- When it is recognized that the guest is likely to cause inconvenience to other guests due to intoxication, etc., or when the guest has said or done something that is extremely disturbing to other guests.
- (2) The guest has violated these General Terms and Conditions or the Hotel's Rules and Regulations.
- When the case falls under other cases where accommodation can be refused as stipulated by various laws and regulations or prefectural ordinances, etc.
- Notice of cancellation pursuant to the preceding paragraph shall be given orally, or by telephone, e-mail or in writing to the contact person of the customer who has submitted a request pursuant to Article 2, and if such notice does not reach the contact person who has submitted a request pursuant to Article 2, the provisions of Article 3, Paragraph 3 shall apply and the notice shall be deemed to have arrived after the period during which it should normally have arrived has elapsed. In the event that the notice does not arrive at the contact address indicated in Article 2, the provisions of Article 3, Paragraph 3 shall apply.
- When this hotel cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, the accommodation charge will not be refunded.

This hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases

Article 7 (Accommodation Registration)
Guests are required to register the following items at the front desk of this hotel on the day of their stay in accordance with Article 6 of the Ryokan Business Law, Article 4-2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the same law, and the ordinances established by the prefecture in which this hotel is located.
- Name, age, gender, address and occupation of the guest
- In the case of a foreign national, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry
- Departure date and scheduled departure time
- Previous nights and destinations
- Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel

Article 8 (Hours of Use of Guest Rooms)
- Guests may use the rooms from the time of check-in to the time of check-out as determined by this hotel. However, in the case of a consecutive stay, the guest may use the room for the entire day, except for the day of arrival and the day of departure.
- In principle, the hotel prohibits the use of rooms after the check-out time. In the unlikely event that the check-out time is exceeded, an additional fee will be charged as listed in Appendix 3.
- Even during the hours when a guest may use a guest room in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may enter the room and take necessary measures when necessary for safety and hygiene control or for the operation and management of the Hotel.

Article 9 (Compliance with Rules of Use)
Guests are required to follow the hotel's rules of use while in the hotel.

Article 10 (Payment of Fees)
- The breakdown of accommodation charges, etc. to be paid by the guest shall be as listed in Appended Table 1.
- Payment of the accommodation charge, etc., as set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be made in Japanese yen, by credit card accepted by this hotel, or by any other means of payment approved by this hotel, at the time of arrival of the guest or at the time of request by this hotel.
- Room charges shall apply even if the guest voluntarily does not stay in the room after the hotel has provided the room to the guest and made it available for his/her use.

Article 11 (Liability of the Hotel)
- In the event that this hotel causes damage to a guest due to non-fulfillment of the accommodation contract and related agreements, or due to a tortious act, this hotel will compensate for the damage up to 100,000 yen, except in cases where the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of this hotel. However, this shall not apply when the damage is not caused by reasons attributable to this hotel.
- The Hotel has Ryokan Liability Insurance to cover damages incurred by guests as described in the preceding paragraph. However, in the event of an exemption from liability under the insurance policy, the Hotel may not be able to compensate for damages incurred by guests.

Article 12 (Treatment in the event that the contracted room cannot be provided)
- If this hotel is unable to provide the guest with the contracted room, it will, with the consent of the guest, arrange other accommodations with the same conditions as possible.
- In the event that this hotel is unable to find another accommodation facility in accordance with the preceding paragraph despite its efforts to do so, it may cancel the accommodation contract. In such a case, the provisions of Article 6, paragraph 2 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the notice of cancellation. In the event that there is a reason attributable to this hotel for not being able to provide a room, this hotel will pay the guest a compensation fee double the amount of the contracted room, and such compensation fee will be considered as compensation for damages.

Article 13 (Handling of Deposited Property, etc.)
- In the event of loss, damage or other loss of or damage to articles or valuables left at the front desk by a guest, this hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases of force majeure. However, if the type and value of the items are not specified by the guest in advance, the hotel will compensate for damages up to 100,000 yen, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the hotel.
- In the event of loss, damage, or other loss of or damage to articles, valuables, or cash brought into this hotel by a guest for reasons attributable to this hotel, this hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, if the type and value of the items are not specified by the guest in advance, the hotel will compensate for damages up to 100,000 yen, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of this hotel.

Article 14 (Storage of Baggage or Personal Effects)
- In the event that a guest's baggage arrives at this hotel prior to his/her stay, it will be stored responsibly only if the hotel is notified prior to arrival and accepts the baggage.
- If a guest's baggage or personal belongings are left at the hotel after the guest has checked out, and the owner is found, the hotel shall contact the owner and request instructions from him or her. However, if the owner's instructions are not given, or if the owner is not known, the hotel will keep the property for up to 30 days from the date of discovery, after which the property will be reported to the nearest police station. However, valuables shall be immediately reported to the nearest police station. In addition, food, beverages, magazines, and other similar waste items will be disposed of at the hotel's discretion if no notification is received by the hotel by the day following check-out.
- In order to properly dispose of left luggage or personal belongings in accordance with the nature of their contents, this hotel may inspect their contents at its discretion and, if necessary, return them to the lost person or dispose of them in accordance with the preceding paragraph, without the guest being able to object thereto.

Article 15 (Guest Responsibility)
In the event that this hotel incurs expenses for cleaning and repairing guest rooms, lost sales opportunities, or other damages due to a guest's violation of these clauses or rules of use or other reasons attributable to the guest, the guest shall compensate this hotel for the damages incurred by the hotel.

Article 16 (Revision of General Terms and Conditions)
These General Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time as necessary.
In the event that these General Terms and Conditions are revised, the Hotel shall post the revised terms and conditions and the effective date on the Hotel's website or in the guest room. -

Appendix 2: Method of Calculating Accommodation Charges (Re: Article 11)

- Cancellation 4 days or more before the check-in date: Cancellation fee will be charged.

- The % is the ratio of the penalty to the room rate.
- The cancellation charge shall be calculated from the day on which the notice of cancellation is received from the guest.
- In the event that the contracted number of days is shortened, the amount of the fee shall be collected for all days during which the stay will not be extended due to such shortening, in proportion to the number of days from the date when the request for such shortening is made to each day during which the stay will not be extended due to such shortening.

Appendix 3: Additional Charges for Use of Guest Rooms after Hours (Re: Article 8)
The base amount for calculating the excess charge (hereinafter referred to as "base amount of excess charge") is the basic room charge for the last day of the stay plus an amount equivalent to consumption tax.
